Our fence warranty
Every fence we build comes with a written warranty from Central Fence LLC: 5 years on steel, aluminum and chain link fence, and 1 year on workmanship for every other fence.

When your job is finished you get a Certificate of Warranty with your job number, your fence type and the job completion date, which is the day your warranty starts. Keep it with your records. The certificate is valid only when it is signed by an authorized Central Fence LLC representative, and the signed certificate sets the exact terms for your fence.
What your warranty covers

5 year warranty: steel, aluminum and chain link fence
Covers all steel, aluminum and chain link fence installed by Central Fence LLC for 5 years from the job completion date.

1 year workmanship warranty: all other fence
Covers workmanship on every other fence type, such as wood and vinyl, for 1 year from the job completion date.

The maker's material warranty, too
On top of either Central Fence warranty, fence materials carry the manufacturer's own material warranty, passed through to you on the manufacturer's terms. Your certificate names the maker and the product.
What we fix at no charge
Central Fence LLC will repair, at no charge, defects in installation workmanship that show up under normal use during the warranty period: posts that lean or loosen, gates that sag or fail to latch because of how they were installed, and loose fabric, rails or hardware.
Central Fence LLC decides the right repair. The warranty period starts on the job completion date.
What the warranty does not cover
- Acts of nature: storms, wind, hail, flood and lightning
- Fallen trees or limbs
- Vehicle, equipment or mower impact
- Ground settling, erosion or frost heave
- Changes, repairs or attachments by the customer or others
- Misuse, neglect or climbing
- Normal weathering, checking, warping or fading of wood
- Damage by others, animals or pets
- Damage to private underground lines not marked before installation
- Property line or survey disputes

Selling your home?
The warranty applies to the original customer at the property on the certificate. It does not transfer to a new owner unless your certificate says it is transferable.
